In the rapidly evolving digital landscape, the issue of digital sovereignty is a key concept, particularly important for safeguarding personal data in the context of the data economy. At the recent final meeting held in Larissa, partners came together to address pressing concerns related to digital sovereignty in the context of youth work.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>

The project, dedicated to promoting digital Sovereignty among youth workers, is at the frontline of empowering individuals with the knowledge and tools necessary to navigate the complexities of data privacy. Through targeted actions, the project aims to equip youth workers with essential skills to effectively protect personal data. By strengthening digital sovereignty at the grassroots level, the project not only enhances individual control over data but also strengthens the resilience of organisations and groups supported by youth workers.<\/span><\/p>

The final Transnational Project Meeting (TPM) held in Larissa on January 9th marked a significant step forward for the LINKS project. This one-day event served as a platform for comprehensive discussions, setting the stage for the project’s conclusion on February 29, 2024. The discussions covered the next steps, including pilot activities and multiplier events in all countries. The focus was on testing the LINKS online platform, digital nuggets, and the newly developed manual tailored to empower youth workers in handling digital data.<\/span><\/p>

As the project moves towards completion, the project is at the front line of digital transformation, promoting a culture of responsible data handling among youth workers. The impact extends beyond borders, contributing to a safer and more secure digital landscape for both organisations and individuals.
